Czech Soft Tennis Union (CSTU) with strong support of International Soft Tennis Federation realized a promotional weekend in Italy, close to city of Venezia. As the players from Italy stopped their participation on international tournament long time ago, intention was to re-launch the interest of players in Italy to participate in soft tennis world again. The promotion was visited by dozens of people from which around 30 took even the part on the court, aged between 9 and 50 years. As the first step, 5 persons are already registered for European Soft Tennis Championships that will be organized by CSTU this August in Havířov, Czech Republic. After the long discussions with Italian team also out of the court, there is an intention to organize a local tournament already during this September, and maybe… international tournament in Italy in 2026. Thanks to all participants from Italian side and my friends Roman Fojtík and Michal Fojtík, who joined me to present this sport in Italy.
